Taken fron the Absinthe Films blog..
"It's official. After months of rumors of one of the heaviest sponsor moves of the season we can announce that Nicolas Müller has signed a multi year deal with Nike snowboarding (boots and outerwear) and stays on Burton Snowboards!"
Nicolas Müller: 'After Nike snowboarding approached me I was granted access to the company and saw that their ideas and values that they stand for are in par with mine (www.considereddesign.com). Even though Nike is a global company, their snowboard program is kept core and rider driven. We have common views and I feel that I can bring in a lot of my ideas not just from a design point of view but also from an ethical standpoint. I saw that they realized that it's all about the athletes health and sustainability and not about the short term victories. I'm very motivated to enter a new chapter in my career and even more stoked to keep riding for the company that makes the best snowboards in the world - Burton.'
Bobby Meeks - Nike snowboarding marketing: 'I always admired Nicolas' riding. It's rare to see a rider with so much soul on the mountain. I'm very proud to have Nicolas on our team.'

While checking out the Absinthe blog we also came across this latest cover shot for Nicolas, the Russian edition of Men's Health. Now there's a cover we're 100% sure he never dreamed of scoring. If anyone wants to decipher the coverline for us we'd be interested in finding out what it says..
